Ethnobotanical Practices among the People of Dagana District, Bhutan

Medicinal plants are one of the most affordable and accessible method available for treatment various ailments diseases by local people. In this regards, study aimed to document ethno-medicinal knowledge used people Dagana district Bhutan. Data were collected between June November 2020 using semi-structured interviews from people, following snowball sampling. The documented 74 medicinal plant species, treating 30 different body diseases. Maximum number species (14) was in cut/body wounds commonly parts leaves (30 species). Current area found be rich knowledge, but equally threatened with declining practices management resources. Thus, appropriate conservation resources preservation traditional is required.
